Terms of sale
Updated 15 October 2026Two contracts sit on each purchase: Polar’s Buyer Terms for payment, and this page plus the Licence for the book.
Who you buy from
Polar Software, Inc., 3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, United States, is the merchant of record and authorised reseller. You pay Polar. Polar collects applicable sales tax or VAT and sends the invoice.
Mrs. Zeinab Hedar (trading as Better Phonics) is the licensor and copyright owner. The Licence is the Supplier Agreement Polar’s buyer terms refer to.
Polar’s Buyer Terms govern checkout, tax, invoices, and payment disputes. If those terms and this page conflict, Polar’s terms win on payment; this page and the Licence win on how you may use the book.
The contract
You must be 18 or older to create an account and pay. The book is for children about 4 to 6, used with an adult.
When you complete Polar checkout for Level 1, you buy the household licence on the Licence page for $30.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Polar may display a local currency and add tax at checkout based on your billing address.
Level 1 is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The series bundle is not for sale yet and cannot be checked out.
Delivery
After Polar confirms payment, sign in on this site with the same email you used at checkout. The interactive book unlocks at /book. Matching A4 pages unlock at /print.
Polar also emails an order confirmation. Keep that email. Use Polar’s customer portal from it for invoices and the PDF download when Polar has attached one.
If delivery is delayed by a technical fault on our side or Polar’s, the remedy is a replacement copy or a refund, as Polar’s buyer terms and the Refunds page describe.
Your account
Create one household account. Do not share the password outside the adults who live there.
We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being shared as a class login, resold, or used to circulate the PDF.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Licence . A serious breach may cancel access without a refund where the law allows.
Do not attempt to bypass the sign-in gate, strip watermarks, or scrape the book.
Quality and liability
Better Phonics is an educational workbook. We do not promise a particular learning outcome, school result, or that it replaces a teacher.
Nothing on this page limits rights you cannot waive under the consumer law of your country, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for faulty digital content.
Subject to those mandatory rights, our liability for a problem with the book is limited to replacement of the files or a refund of the price you paid for that order.
Law
The purchase contract with Polar is governed by Polar’s Buyer Terms (Delaware law, with Polar’s arbitration terms).
This Supplier Agreement is in English. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply and are not limited by a choice-of-law clause where the law forbids that.
Contact
For cards, invoices, payment refunds, and access to your order, email support@polar.sh or use the Polar customer portal from the email Polar sent after you paid.
