Refunds

Updated 15 October 2026

Polar takes the payment, so Polar handles billing refunds. We replace a book that will not open.

Who to ask

Email support@polar.sh with the email you paid with and the Polar order id from your confirmation. You can also open Polar’s customer portal from that email.

If the files will not open or sign-in will not unlock Level 1 after a successful payment, tell Polar in the same email so we can restore access or refund.

Faulty files and missing access

If Polar has taken payment and the interactive book will not unlock, or the PDF will not open, for a reason on our side or Polar’s, you get a working copy or a refund. That is the remedy for faulty digital content.

We may ask you to try another browser or to confirm the email on the account matches the Polar order before we treat it as faulty.

Change of mind

Level 1 is digital. Delivery starts as soon as Polar confirms payment: the account can open /book and /print, and Polar may attach the PDF.

Where consumer law gives a cooling-off right for distance sales, that right can end once digital content starts to be delivered if you asked for immediate access. Polar’s checkout is the place that confirmation is given. Polar then evaluates refunds under Polar’s Buyer Terms , card-network rules, and mandatory law.

A change of mind after a working delivery is not a refund ground once cooling-off has ended, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

After a refund

If Polar refunds the order, the household licence ends. Book and print pages lock again. Delete household copies of the PDF.

Chargebacks on a validly delivered order may be contested with Polar. Polar’s buyer terms explain chargebacks. We may close the account if a chargeback is used in place of asking for help on a working copy.
